Why did you choose to work with Panelle?

Why is DEI important to your business?

The world is shaped by our differences and the unique paths we’ve all traveled. Imagine how dull life would be if we were all the same. Now, think about hiring the same person repeatedly. Progress would stall, challenges would fade, and innovation would be stifled.

Conversations would become tiresome, lacking fresh perspectives, and opportunities to learn would vanish. DEI isn’t about meeting quotas or checking boxes; it’s about enriching your business with diverse creativity, fresh ideas, and new energy that drives growth and innovation.

How is your company driving representation for women?

Vitally is proud to have a roughly 50/50 gender balance, with women making up 66% of our leadership team and 50% of our overall leaders. In the tech industry, it's easy to fall into the "boys' club" mentality, but we prioritize finding the best talent, which takes time and commitment.

During our hiring process, we aim to ensure that at least 25% of the initial pipeline consists of underrepresented candidates for the role. From there, we focus on scorecards and minimizing human bias, ensuring we hire the most qualified person for the job. True representation starts with creating space at the beginning of the hiring process, not setting arbitrary metrics for the outcome.

How can Panelle help with your DEI goals?  

Vitally’s DEI goals include ensuring 100% base pay equity for employees in comparable roles, increasing the representation of underrepresented groups across all departments and leadership, strengthening diversity throughout the organization, and maintaining a hiring process where 50% of top candidates come from diverse backgrounds.
