Snowflake and Panelle are excited to join forces and announce this partnership in hopes to continue fostering a strong community of female data leaders.
This collaboration underscores Snowflake’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, aligning with their core values of integrity, excellence, and embracing diversity.
Through this partnership, we aim to spotlight and support women in tech, address key challenges in the retail sector, and empower our teams and clients with data-driven insights for impactful decision-making.
Together, we look forward to learning from and sharing knowledge with this vibrant community, driving representation and opportunities for women in technology.
Why did you choose to work with Panelle?
What appealed to us about Panelle was the space it has created for CxO women, designed by women. Panelle brings together a strong female community of data leaders, who we hope to engage, learn from, and work with, in pursuing DEI.
Why is DEI important to your business?
At Snowflake we recognise that there is space and necessity for diversity, equity and inclusion. A couple of Snowflake’s company values are “Integrity Always”, “Be Excellent” and “Think Big” and a lot of this is fed by another value “Embrace Each Other’s Differences”. Growing diversely and inclusively enables our teams to operate as a strong unit, which not only empowers our own organization, but also the organizations we serve.?
This attention to DEI is one way we can feed our mission to empower others, with easy access to data for impactful, responsible, and advanced decision making.
How is your company driving representation for women?
We are constantly seeking opportunities to spotlight and support women in tech within our own organization, and at our customers and partners. In EMEA, our Data for Good team amplifies this effort with focused Data for Good campaigns, largely concentrating on Ending Data Disparities and the Gender Gap. We target this by running hackathons on Women’s Safety and Women’s Health, creating space for mindshare with Women in Tech events, opening the door to data for students, supporting Female Founders groups and partnering with organizations, like Discussion Box, equally dedicated to driving, highlighting and growing female talent in tech.
How can Panelle help with your DEI goals?
Combining efforts to be better together! By joining forces, we hope to spread more awareness, combine our strengths, reach more communities and create greater impact. As Panelle says, “We learn by listening to others; we teach by sharing our knowledge” and we hope to facilitate that together with this event.
What will you achieve through this series with Panelle?
A better understanding of how Retail female data leaders are thinking about data and leadership in their organizations.
Challenges and opportunities in retail, as an industry, and for the women leading. This will also help us address those challenges in existing or new ways, with product or support.
